AUC8 to Tmax (partial exposure metric)

I am interested in the partial exposure metric AUC8-Tmax. I know that Simon has posted a method for AUC 0-Tmax using an inner join worksheet technique. My passion is to have a technique for measuring partial exposure metrics like AUC 8-TMAX. I am thinking how I do this? I have been successful copying Simon’s approach for AUC 0-Tmax and it works very well for me. suggestions are indeed most welcome, Angus

Angus, are you looking for AUC from 8h to Tmax ? It sounds like a late Tmax to me? If so why 8h out of interest? Are you dosing 3x day but treating it as 1 NCA profile? Simon

Yes: it is a delayed release tablet and we wish to exclude the first 8 hours from our calculation.(for reasons of IP). We wish to measure AUC from 8 hours to Tmax.. So we will exclude the hours prior to 8 hours from our calculation. Yes; it is a late Tmax. Angus

Ok Angus there might be a more elegant way but the immediate solution I can see is to ; 1) request AUC0-8 under partia areas when you first do your NCA 2) then AUC 0-Tmax using an inner join worksheet technique 3) data wizard with a transform to subtract AUC0-8 from AUC 0-Tmax to give AUC8_Tmax Simon
