CLI cannot use 2204.1 engine

Hi Alex,

If you are running CLI from C:\Program Files (x86)\Pinnacle 21 Community\resources\app.asar.unpacked\components\lib, this should not be done. On our page https://www.pinnacle21.com/projects/validator/community-cli, we mention to copy the .jar file to Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community and run CLI from this location.

As mentioned in another forum thread, https://www.pinnacle21.com/forum/latest-p21-community-401-cli-106-cannot-validate-define-alone, if a validation is ran in App with the 2204.1 engine, does the 2204.1 configs folder populate at Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community\configs? I verified this on my end and was able to validate with the 2204.1 engine and CLI running from the proper location.

I skipped the part of copying .jar file, just thought it’s not important…Thank you Matt for your help!

Dear team,

In P21 Community 4.0.1 installation folder, the engine folder is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Pinnacle 21 Community\resources\app.asar.unpacked\components\lib\configs\2204.0”, but in the interface, it’s 2204.1 other than 2204.0, seems this discrepancy results to the CLI command cannot search the correct path for validation files.
