Our team was working on an ADaM define for a study and encountered the following error in P21 when generating the define using the BMS inhouse template and seeing below error. They have checked the ADaM spec but there are no blank terms in the spec.
“Codelsits, 923 Term is missing even though other columns are populated.”
I’m trying to update the spec, but it says, “authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, avif”. Could you tell me how to upload an excel file or any workaround.
There was typo from my end. I was to write “Upload” but typed “Update”. I was unable to upload an excel file and only supported formats are “ jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, avif”. I will check with the team to get me the Define.xml file for your review.
I’m unable to upload any files apart from these extensions ( jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, avif). Could you please guide me how to upload the define.xml file.
I have the define.xml generated by the team. I’m trying to upload either Define.xml or Specifications into this thread for your review but unable to as only image formats are accepted (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, avif). Not sure if I convert the define.xml into Image format and upload them?.
I’ve reviewed your files and used your specs to generate define.xml file in P21 Community. The system successfully generated define.xml file. No upload failure was observed.
However, your excel file is not in P21 define.xml format. You need to manually covert your excel specs to P21 excel specs format.
You can create a template (or example) P21 specs by importing your define.xml file.
I would recommend you to start with 2 youtube presentations published above.
I checked with the team, and they are using the ‘BMS ADaM Adaptor tool’ to create the define.xml using the BMS ADaM specification template, not the P21 template.
A screenshot from the P21 system highlighting the template option selected during define generation has been attached along with the error they received.
