flow between compartments

Hi all,

Can anybody tell how to create a flow from a compartment without a second compartment and define that as non-linear output ? Is it possible graphically?

Best regards,

RC

Raghava, I don’t understand your question - if you want to make a flow, then it has to go somewhere, that second compartment could be e.g. an elimination compartment or peripheral.

what are you trying to represent?

SImon

Hi simon,

Thank you for the reply,

i am trying to represent the flow from compartment 5 in the attachment. For example if i am representing clearance of parent to metabolite (have the conc for this metabolite) and parent to urine clearance (elimination compartment). How do i define the clearance of the parent in to other metabolites (dont have the concentration of other metabolites)

PS Is it possible to get the phx project mentioned below:

Raghav, if you go to https://support.certara.com/forums/topic/379-modeling-parent-metabolite/?hl=lisa#entry1319 you can now download that file. If you ever find a broken link lik e this please just report the post because it took me quite a long time to find the thread you were referring to.

Also the flow K50 you referenced should simply be put to an elimination compartment in graphical model builder. The original author of the word doc has not drawn the ‘sink’ compartment but it is there

thanks, Simon.

Hi Simon,

thank you for the clarification,

the following post has one phoenix project which cant be downloaded can you plz help.

Best regards

Corrected - again Raghav please either report the message or post the URL, in this case;

https://support.certara.com/forums/topic/379-modeling-parent-metabolite/?hl=lisa#entry1319

so I don’t have to search to find the the thread.

Simon.
