Hi Chris,

It’s an abbreviation for “Text Qualifier”, a character that used to enclose values in your text delimited file.

E.g., Delimiter: , Qualifier: "

1997,Ford,E350,"Super, luxurious truck"

Hi All

When readying the Using OpenCDISC Valiudator topic and reading the text below

Select your format: “SAS Transport (XPORT)” or “Delimited Text”. If you selected “Delimited”, you can specify a Delimiterand a Qualifier. The default delimiter is a “|” (vertical pipe).

I was wondering what was meant as a ‘Qualifier’.
