Running validations from a Windows Server is possible, however, it was not the intention of the Community application and we do not guarantee the results of such validation. Community 3.0.2 is designed to be installed on each users’ individual machine and works best when installed in this way.
As you’ve seen, validations from a Windows server will be successful but will produce an Unsupported OS warning. Note that this does not necessarily mean there was anything wrong with the validation or the results produced, only that we don’t recommend using such a validation for submission to regulatory bodies.
We are working on bringing full support for server-based multi-user installations. It will be part of next major Community update.
I am curious to know what solution is available to solve the Unsupported OS used due to the validator installation. I see the post suggesting their will be a fix, but was not able to find the fix. Any guidance is welcome.
I think I understand the issue and redownloaded Pinnacle 21 several times on my C drive but I will get this message. How best can I resolve this issue to create a SDTM compliance report after uloading my SAS xpt files?
Developers using Pinnacle Version: 2.2.0 are seeing the below error(also attached the snapshot) and displays a dialog box with the warning “Unsupported OS used”.
