SD0061 issue firing for domains marked as hasnodata="Yes"

Hi Antonie,

SD0061 firing in this scenario is a known bug with our current rule logic. We are working on enhancing the validation Engine to support the def:HasNoData attribute. Once we have that support, we will update various rules to account for “empty” datasets and “empty” variables.

We do not recommend including these 0 observation datasets in your validation package. It goes against industry guidance.

Good day team,

I have a study where the SD0061 check is firing however in the define.xml this dataset is indicated as hasnodata=“Yes” with a comment of why no data is available. For submissions no blank datasets are created but does the P21 validator require the blank datasets?
