Hi!
There are two most common explanations for your case:
-
You have AE, but did not include this dataset into a list of files for validation.
-
Misspelling of RDOMAIN value, presence of non-printable leading characters (e.g., “space”) or usage Unicode characters which look similar.

Thank you very much for your help. I included AE.xpt and SUPPAE.xpt together in the validator list and rerun, the SD0072 error is not there, but new error SD0077 showing up:
| SD0077 |
Invalid referenced record |
Reference record defined by Related Domain Abbreviation (RDOMAIN), Unique Subject Identifier (USUBJID), Identifying Variable (IDVAR) and Identifying Variable Value (IDVARVAL) must exist in the target Domain |
As state in rule SD0077, “…must exist in the targe Domain”, the “target Domain” here means domain AE or SUPPAE?
i do have SUPPAE like: (Is the SUPPAE structure looks good?)
STUDYID RDOMAIN USUBJID IDVAR IDVARVAL QNAM…
1220_0047 AE 1220_0047_41 AESEQ 1 ACNIFN
1220_0047 AE 1220_0047_41 AESEQ 1 ACNRBV
1220_0047 AE 1220_0047_41 AESEQ 1 AESEV
1220_0047 AE 1220_0047_41 AESEQ 2 ACNIFN
1220_0047 AE 1220_0047_41 AESEQ 2 ACNRBV
1220_0047 AE 1220_0047_41 AESEQ 2 AESEV
The ACNIFN ACNRBV and AESEV were collected in AE page, but have to go to SUPPAE and AE look like:
USUBJD AESEQ AELLT … xx_ACNFIN xx_ACNRBV xx_AESEV…
1220_0047_41 1 10010 dose change dose not change mild
1220_0047_41 2 10031 dose not change dose not change moderate
…
Thank you very much.

Hi!
Target domain is defined by a RDOMAIN value (AE). In your example, everything should be fine for the check SD0077.

Hi, when runing Opencdisc for SUPPAE domain, there is an error on SD0072, saying
| Related Domain Abbreviation (RDOMAIN) must have a valid value of Domains included in the study data |
For SUPPAE, the RDOMAIN=“AE” with length and format=$2. “AE” is not a valid value for RDOMAIN here??
I was confused on this. Do I have to set RDOMAIN to other value(s) indtead of “AE”? thank you very much.
