You are right, this is a bug in the configuration. We’ll include a fix in v1.4.1, but for now you can go ahead and download the latest development version at http://svn.opencdisc.org/validator/trunk/config/

I downloaded the updated configuration. Is there somewhere in particular I should let you know about other things I find or is here the easiest?

I think its meant to look at AESOCCD, but it appears to be looking at AESOC. Obviously none of the SOC names will match the codes.
