Dear All,
I had a question about the sensitivity analysis option (profile) in Phoenix NLME.
The option we have in Phoenix as I understand is more “local”. Is there a method wherein one can perform a more global sensitivity analysis?
Thank you

Dear Vaishnavi,

As far as I know it is not possible to perform the Global Sensitivity analysis in Phoenix NLME till now. I suspect some workarounds are possible using profiling and averaging, but this approach cannot be generalized.
The Sobol’s method is quite attractive and powerful. Interesting that Sobol’s method uses quasi random sequences implemented in one of NLME fitting algo. So we need to wait or use something else till the moment this feature will be implemented (I hope and pray ).
