Create Template button on Object Browser Window

Dear Expert, I am trying to understand and use the Create Template button located on the Object browser window. I did select an operational object (one of my Phoenix model) and upon clicking Create Template, it actually created an excel sheet with the results from all the tables, which is normally seen on the Results Tab. Is this the intended function of Create Template? Because, the user’s guide specifies that it creates a template of the workflow object, which I assume can be used with a different dataset. Please clarify. I am using Phoenix V1.3, NLME 1.2. Thanks Mathangi

Mathangi, you were on the right steps but you needed to select WNLT as the file type before clicking Save wnlt-20140205.jpgalso don’t forget to consider using datalinks e.g. see this post
