Decimal separator, point or coma

Hi,

I have noticed that when I enter numbers with decimal figures, and try to put it with a point (e.g. 1234.22) the program does not recognize the point as a decimal separator and eliminates it. Then, the number becomes 123422, with no decimal figures. If I use coma, 1234,22 it keeps it as a number with two decimal figures.

I need to configure it such that de decimal separator is . (point) and not , (coma) to be able to work with the excel files.

Where and how can I change this configuration?

Thanks in advance

Ignacio

Hi Ignacio,

You are correct it requires the regional settings of your environment to use a decimal point. You cannot change the behaviour in Phoenix itself. Please look at the Help on installation

https://onlinehelp.certara.com/phoenix/8.3/index.html#t=topics%2Fphoenixinstall.htm%23XREF_32923_Post_installation

also this has been discussed before in the forum;
