Error loading project

Dear all. As I was asked to amend a recent evaluation due to a formality I tried to open that old project (dated 10th of September) today (that is the 17.). I used the title of the error message I got as title for the thread. Besides this, the whole message reads: "There was an eror loading the project file: path and file name. As this is not quite a very helpful amount of information, I would like to ask whether anybody had such an error message and was able to figure out the root cause and, a man can dream, a solution. I am working on trying the “copies” done by our audit trail hoping that the corruption is not present in one of the earlier files after the finalisation of the project. Still, this is uncomfortable, to say the least, and any help or suggestion will be highly appreciated. Best regards, Steven. P.S.: And I am sorry, but I will not get permission to post the file, although I am quite sure that might be the most (only?) effective way to get the problem solved.

Steven - could you send the project file and logs (Help:View logs, best to zip them up) to SUpport@pharsight.com and then they can review them confidentially. Otherwise I don’t really have enough information to understand/explain what has happened. Simon

Hello Simon. Thanks for the quick reply. Good to know that we can generally rely on confidentiality for whole projects at the support. Should make discussion with the client easier once we need to get to that level. We just went further into the issue ourselves and found, that we have two versions of the project file in our audit trial. Whose time stamps are separated by 1 second. And the “older” version has full functionality after restoration. Thus, we now firmly assume that something went wrong on our server/with the mirroring and there is nothing wrong with the Phoenix file due to anything that Phoenix did. Not the finding most appreciated by our IT, hehe. Thought it would be good to let you know that there is no indication for anything that needs fixing with Phoenix itself. Thanks again and best regards, Steven.

That’s good to hear - thanks for letting us know. Have a good week end. Simon.
