Hello, I have specific question about generation of Initial estimates using Curve stripping option, When i try to do curve stripping manually i chose last 3 data points on terminal phase of the profile to determine B & Beta. and then determine further A and Alpha. By following this way the final estimates generated by WNL/ initial estimates shown in WNL do not match exactly My question is How many data points do WNL uses for performing curvestripping to generate B and Beta Does it take only 3 points or uses best fit option in doing so Regards Kaushik
An iterative algorithm is used, so it is more complex than just using three points. We are trying to hunt down the references, but this is taking some time since they are old. This book is out-of-print: Title Pharmacokinetic Parameter Estimation: Exponential Curve Stripping Author Adrian Dunne Publisher University College Dublin, 1984 This article is most likely the same method: An iterative curve stripping technique for pharmacokinetic parameter estimation Adrian Dunne Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology Volume 38, Issue 2, pages 97–101, February 1986
Hope you got the reference, i request you top share the paper with me Thanks Kaushik
