Mixture Models with latent covariate with NLME

Hi all,

I am looking to reproduce a model that college developed in Monolix. They used a mixture model with a latent covariate. In my search of the manual, I see no ability to do this in NLME. I saw this confirmed by a forum post but that was five years ago.

It appears nothing was done to address this capability gap. This is hugely disappointing as it seems every competitor has this capability. I am hoping there is a work around as this seems to be a significant weakness. Further I do not want to be on a platform that lacks the same suite of tools as other platforms.

Has anyone found a workaround ?

Thanks in advance

Hi, can you share the monolix code and what are you trying to do. NLME does not support mixtures but it supports nonparameteric engine that can be even more genreral than mixures with known n of support points.
can you show me FDA submission examples where a regulatory decision was based on a mixture model ?
most of the time mixture are nice to have but not critical into approving the drug.
