P21 3.1.0 Validitor does not show installed MedDra dictionary

Hi Jim,

Check your “C:\Users%User%\Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community 3.1.0\configs\data\MedDRA” folder. Can you see a subfolder with a name of your MedDRA version? If yes, what files does this folder contain?

It should have hlgt.asc, hlt.asc, llt.asc, pt.asc and soc.asc files.

…configs\data\meddra\21.0 with all 5 asc files, plus others

Data path is case-sensitive. Please rename ‘meddra’ folder to ‘MedDRA’

took a step backwards. Got the message “MedDRA version 21.0 already exists”, which I got before. Then got “Could not create the MedDRA folder: 21.0”

path is a little different than noted above

C:\Users<>\Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community\configs\data\MedDRA\21.0

Hello Jim,

Could you please try to delete the existing MedDRA folder (…\configs\data\MedDRA\21.0), restart the app and run the MedDRA installer again.

Please note that after files are placed in the target location (ex. C:\Users<>\Documents\Pinnacle 21 Community\configs\data\MedDRA\21.0), the dictionary installation is done and you don’t need to run it again.

Followed steps to install MedDra. Installation was confirmed. However the MedDra drop down box still states ‘install’. Cannot select a version. Closed/opened P21 and reinstalled MedDra with same issue. thanks
