Parameterize your model with V and a rate constant K

Hi

I am working on a multi-compartment model and I have been using the two-way micro-parameter formulation with a K_in and K_out.

Ideally I would like to formulate the model where I can fit a Volume, K_in and K_out. That does not seem possible out the box it seems. I know there is the Cl/V fitting where you can check a two way clearance but I do like the explicit K values in both directions.

I have two questions

  1. is there a way to recover the volume value from the two-way microparameter setup?

  2. is there a way to change my parameters to be mixed say Volume and K_in or something along those lines

Thanks in advance

Regarding V – I am not sure I understand your problem, it is presented in micro parameterization, if you want V2 then you can go to graphical mode and check the conc box but I imagine you will have identifiability issues.

if you need a parameter that is not output already in theta tables then you can request on the Run options tab with a new table by clicking Structural parameters or specifying explicitly.

Thanks for the reply. I found a pathway to what I wanted via the PML school by adding a fixed effect term in the code. I was looking for a way to do this graphically. I will try the add table thing you mentioned here.

Thanks!
