Hi,

There is an enzyme inhibitor effect that I am trying to model. The compound A inhibits an enzyme which is responsible for metabolism of compound B. By inhibiting the enzyme, Cp of compound B increases to the therapeutic level. The PKPD of compound A is done. Now I am trying to model the effect of enzyme inhibition on compound B. Could you please help me to know how I can correlate the Effect to increase of Cp pf compound B? The idea is to simulate different dose levels of compound A to investigate the plasma concentration of compound B to be above therapeutic level.

Is there any example or study material that you could kindly recommend?

Drug A → Enzyme inhibition → plasma concentration increase of Drug B.

you need to make a conceptual model of what is going on and then write down a diagram and then convert it into an ODE system

the drug making the inhibition or induction can be another one or the same compound (auto inh or auto ind)
