Reproducing published model

I tried to reproduce the model of Gupta et.al. (https://doi.org/10.1007/s40262-017-0526-4) in simulations. Only the structural model and I dropped the irrelevant lag-time. I had to interrupt the sim’s because no results were obtained. Where did I screw up?
