selecting Lambda-z ranges

I am using WinNonlin ver 5.2. Is there a way to save lambda-z upper and lower values as a .dat file after a “best fit” run, ie alowing WinNonlin to select upper and lower bounds? This may be useful when running large datasets. I would let WNL select the upper and lower Lambda-z and then go into the program to tweak the ones that I didn’t like. Currently the way I do it is to select crude limits myself eg 96hr and 168hr for the whole data set so that these apply for say ~80% of the subjects and then change the rest mannually, Please advise Thanks

Hi. The way I have seen this done is to first run the best fit option in WNL, then review the profiles and go back to the model properties>lambdaz ranges and ONLY select ranges for profiles that you wish to modify manually. The rest can be left blank. Refresh the NCA module. The tool will then use the best fit for the ranges that were left blank. Another creative option is to save a .dat file and see how the structure is set up and then just copy and paste from the summary output. However, I wouldn’t recommend this option as it is too prone to error. Also note that in the upcoming version of Phoenix WinNonlin 6.2 the lambdaz ranges will be outputed in a separate output and it will indicate for each profile what method was selected. In addition in Phoenix WinNonlin after the NCA is executed the best fit ranges are automatically placed in the settings of the object (screen shot attached of the settings after the object is executed for 3 profiles).
