WinNonlin 5.3

Hi! Nice to learn that WNL finally is supported on Vista (32/64-bit) and Win7 (32/64-bit). Since the documentation is dated 7 Dec 2009 and was uploaded 16 March 2010 - is there any date planned for release of the program? @Admins/Mods: Please move this post to “General WinNonlin Classic Discussion Forum” - I got only an
Access Denied!
there.

WinNonlin 5.3 (without PHX) was released in December 2009 and is availalbe for download in our support site. The documentation has not changed but it was uploaded to this website in March. We apologize for the confusion. Please note that the released version of Phoenix WinNonlin 6.1is supported on Windows 7 and Vista 32-bit only. The next release will be supported in 64-bit but this is not available to the public yet (expected release is around Fall 2010) Sincerely, Ana Henry Pharsight Desktop Product Manager

Hi Ana!
WinNonlin 5.3 (without PHX) was released in December 2009 and is availalbe for download in our support site. I found the information by chance here. Going to ‘Home > Library > Support > Product Downloads’ ended in electronic nirvana - so I assumed WNL5.3 wasn’t released yet. Hi Helmut, After release, on February 4th, 2010 we certified PHX WNL 6.1 with Windows 7, 32-bit. This was done after release and that is why the docs are out of date. Although we sent a notification it appears that this was not received by every one. In the future we will always make sure these type of announcements are part of this forum. Ana

Hi Ana! From your first post (how the heck to crossreference posts within this board?) I got the impression that PHX6.1 is certified from Vista upwards. Since I have no intentions to upgrade my main machine from XP I was a little bit confused… By ‘only’ you meant 32-bit, right?

Hi Helmut, Apologies again for the confusion. That is correct that PHX 6.1 is only certified with Vista 32-bit. Thanks, Ana
