Good afternoon,
This is my first time posting to the forum. I was wondering how I can tell if the AUC generated by the secondary parameter feature in NLME (version 1.2 of course) is the AUC last or the AUCto infinity? If it is AUC last, is there a way to generate AUCinf?
Thanks,
Kristen
Hi Kristen,
If you look at the formula that is automatically generated for the secondary parameter “AUC” when you use “Set WNL Model” you will see the formula for AUC 0 to infinity for the first dose e.g for a 1 compartment extravascular dose it will look like this.
AUC= AaDose/tvV/tvKe
this can be seen in many standard texts.
If you use the search feature on this forum you will find some other threads that discuss this e.g.
http://www.certara.com/forums/topic/371-assistance-calculating-auc-as-secondary-parameter/?hl=formula
Have a look around and if you’re still stuck post an example of how far you’ve got and I’ll look back at this tomorrow as I’m just off to bed now.
