My environment: Windows 7 Pro SP1 (64bit) build 7601, Phoenix 64 build 6.4.0.768, .NET Framework 4.6.1 (last security update 2016-05-11). I suspect one of these February/March security updates are the reason: KB3122661, KB3127233, KB3136000.
Any ideas? I don’t want to see this window pop up during an inspection.
Hi Helmut, I beleive this issue is reported already as qc15607.
.NET framework version check should be updated to use required version or later
When automatic updates update the .net assemblies to a newer version than the verison required for PHX 1.4, the user will see a warning/error “.NET 4.5 Framework not found, application may not run properly.”
however Phoenix will be fine, the code looks for an exact match of the version required (=4.5) but it should look for that version or higher.
Sorry about that, should be addressed in PHX 7, (early summer to give you some manuals to read on the beach!)
Rosy, when you get this message. Do you actually encounter any other problems becuase in my exeperience it is simply a ‘false’ message. as I said above,
the code looks for an exact match of the version required (=4.5) but it should look for that version or higher.
if you still have issues then email support confirming your Phoenix version number and any patches intstalled.
