I’m trying to present individual PK parameter results from an NCA using a Box Plot object in Phoenix Winnonlin (build 8.5.0.6676). When x-axis group values are rearranged, some of the data points disappear, as in the example below.
When the x-axis is ordered as Cohort 1, Cohort 2, Cohort A, Cohort B, all data points are shown for Cohort 2 and Cohort A (circled in red).
However, when re-ordered as Cohort A, Cohort B, Cohort 1, Cohort 2, many of the data points are no longer rendered on the plot.
I’ve tried adjusting all the settings under the object Layout and X-Axis Content menus, including resizing the plot elements, turning off jitter, changing the seed number, and toggling all options under Content.
I’ve had this issue for at least a year and frequently have to re-generate the plot outside of WNL, which is time consuming and makes traceability and QC more difficult.
Has anyone else had this happen and/or found a fix? Any guidance would be sincerely appreciated!
sorry for the delay, this is a known issue that was fixed in 8.5.2 (and of course inthe forthcoming 8.6 (late May/June). Simon.

Thanks for the prompt response, Simon! Glad this is already on your radar.
Hi Simon, I’ve upgraded to Phoenix 8.5.2.4 and the missing datapoints are now showing up as expected. As a follow-on question, have you seen issues with jitter when x-axis order is changed?
Here is the same example as in my original post using PHX 8.5.2.4. When ordered as Cohort 1, Cohort 2, Cohort A, Cohort B, jitter is applied to all points. However, when ordered as Cohort A, Cohort B, Cohort 1, Cohort 2, most of the points fall along a vertical line. Interestingly, the datapoints that are no longer jittered as the same points that disappeared in PHX 8.5.0.
Thanks again!
i don’t think so, can you check your seed for jitter ? and re-run. it works fine for me when I just tried this in 8.6 which I have just installed. If you still see this please can you email a project illustrating this to support@certara.com

Hi Simon, I am using jitter seed 3594.
I’ve sent a project demonstrating the jitter issue to support@certara.com.
Thanks!
