TIP: How to improve time to launch Phoenix?

Some users have reported that it seems to take a long time to start up Phoenix as well as when trying to access the Edit>Preference menu. We have investigated this problem and there appears to be a problem with the logging service affecting performance of Phoenix when starting up and when accessing Edit->Preferences. An easy workaround is to delete the logs in your machine and you’ll see a vast improvement in the time it takes to start up Phoenix. To delete the logs you can go to Help>View Logs, select all files in that folder and delete them. These are usually logs recorded when Phoenix encounters problems and when contacting Pharsight support they might ask you for these. Please only delete if you have not had an issue but you have seen a slow down launching the application.
